Terms of Use & Service

The agreement between you and WeCanna. Please read it — it explains how the platform works and what CxC is and isn't.

Effective September 9, 2026

These Terms of Use & Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the WeCanna website and app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

What this Service is, and what it is not

WeCanna is not a bank. It is not a bank, a credit union, a trust company, or a licensed deposit-taking institution of any kind. It is a software service operated by DragonHorde LLC.

Your balance is not a bank deposit and it is not insured. There is no FDIC insurance, no NCUA insurance, and no government guarantee behind anything you hold here. If this Service fails, no public body makes you whole. That is the most important sentence on this page.

CxC is a crypto-token, not money. It is an ERC-20 token on the Polygon network. It is backed by a reserve at a floor price, described in Section 9 — backing is not the same as insurance, and a floor is a commitment this Service makes rather than one anybody enforces on your behalf.

Some of our words come from banking, and that is all they are — words. Deposits, withdrawals, savings, and the counters we run in person are named after things people already understand, so that using them needs no explanation. They do not mean the thing they are named after: a "deposit" here is a transfer of CxC inside this Service, not a deposit at a bank, and it carries none of the protections that word implies elsewhere.

Our in-person counter service is governed by its own separate terms, given to you at the counter. These Terms cover your WeCanna account.

We are not licensed as a money transmitter or money services business, and we do not currently offer money transmission. Where a service would require a licence we do not hold, it stays switched off rather than running quietly — our cash counter is switched off for exactly this reason.

Nothing here is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Stake Shares can lose value, Savings pays a variable share and not a rate, and both are explained in How Savings and Stake Shares work. Read that before you use either.

1. Who can use the Service

2. Account verification

Verification keeps the platform honest and is required:

3. What CxC is

CxC (CannaCoin) is a real, fixed-supply ERC-20 token on the public Polygon network (contract 0x1Fa57c803Bc14cF3D6d8A9EAf4f3A4E7B1Dd09C3, source-verified). You earn it by using the app — mainly through timed "Proof of View" mining sessions. Two layers work together:

To keep the platform ledger honest, we publish its figures: a pseudonymous snapshot of the ledger (addresses and amounts — never names, emails, or other personal details) is exported nightly and its cryptographic fingerprint is recorded on Polygon, making history tamper-evident. Live figures are on our public Transparency page. Corrections to settlement follow our fix-forward policy: they only ever add what was missed; we do not pull coins back from your address to fix our own errors.

⚠ CxC is not an investment

CxC is a utility/rewards token for using the platform. It is not a security, a share, a deposit, or an investment product, and nothing on the Service is financial, legal, or tax advice. Buying passes, boosters, or POL is not investing. Don't spend money you can't afford to, and don't treat CxC as a way to make money — treat it as points you earn for your time.

4. Mining, sessions, passes, and boosters

5. Payments and the CxC allowance

6. The Market and merchant shops

7. Stake Shares

8. Savings

Savings lets you lock CxC for a period at the milestone rates displayed when you commit. Earnings compound into the lock and become available when it opens. Each lock's term, rate, and open date are shown before you confirm and on your Savings page afterwards. Rates for new locks may change as the platform evolves; a lock you've already opened keeps the terms it was opened with.

9. Redemptions and the reserve

Internal CxC is redeemable against our reserve at a floor price. So the system stays honest and solvent, redemptions are guarded:

10. On-chain settlement and self-custody withdrawals

Nightly settlement (automatic). For verified accounts we derive and custody a Polygon address for you and settle it nightly to match your platform balance, as described in Section 3. Custodial means we hold that address's key on your behalf so we can operate settlement, enforce these Terms, and correct errors additively; you can watch the address publicly at any time.

Self-custody withdrawals (your choice, Verified members). Moving CxC to a wallet you control is available to accounts at Verified level, through a record-kept transfer from our treasury. On-chain transactions are public and permanent and cannot be reversed by us. You are responsible for providing a correct destination address; we cannot recover coins sent to a wrong address or to a wallet whose keys you lose. Coins returning from self-custody to the platform (bridging in) are open to all members.

Network conditions. Settlement and withdrawals depend on the public Polygon network; congestion or outages can delay them. Delays are not losses — settlement is self-correcting and simply completes on a following run.

11. Notifications and security alerts

The Service sends in-app notices that matter to your account: a sign-in from a new device, CxC leaving your account (sends, purchases, and shop payments), and verification decisions. These are informational — helpful, but not a security guarantee, and delivery isn't warranted. Keeping your login secure remains your responsibility. Some notification types can be turned on or off in settings where offered.

12. WeCanna Radio and third-party content

Some miner types play audio, video, or streams that include third-party content (for example, YouTube embeds), which remains subject to the third party's own terms and availability — content can change or become unavailable outside our control. Advertising appears only in designated places: within the miner player and in the miner banner. Ads are served by our advertising partner and are subject to its policies (see the Privacy Policy).

13. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Other users can block and report accounts. We review reports and may act on them, including removing content or suspending accounts.

14. Suspension, termination, and our error policy

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the reward or reserve systems, fail mandatory verification (Section 2), or put the platform or other users at risk. Where a violation involves faked or manipulated activity, we may reverse the affected CxC. You can close your own account at any time by contacting us through Help.

Our error policy — we fix forward. When a platform error affects balances or sessions, we resolve it with incentives and earn-back offers rather than silently removing value from accounts. Value is only removed for the reasons stated openly in these Terms: proven manipulation, or closure after mandatory verification isn't completed.

15. Service changes and availability

We're actively building the platform. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may set, change, or discontinue prices, rewards, and limits. We try to keep the Service available but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may take it down for maintenance.

Growing features. Merchant shops and point-of-sale tools are live in early form and will keep evolving. We may introduce additional ways to use CxC — for example, a physical NFC-linked card tied to your wallet. Features not yet available are described only for transparency and will be governed by additional terms if and when they launch.

16. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent allowed by law. We don't warrant that CxC will hold any particular value beyond the reserve floor mechanism described above, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that it will meet your expectations. You use the Service at your own risk.

17. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WeCanna and the people who run it are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost value, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we'll update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
